UV-C in Ductwork
Ductwork comes in all shapes and sizes, controlling the air space in commercial applications from; food production, manufacturing, office buildings, health care and hospitality. Ensuring the controlled air flow of a commercial building is clean and sanitised, which is hugely important.
Through UV-C disinfection, we can sterilise the air flow in targeted areas, killing 99.9% of the existing micro-organisms.
Not only can this have an immediate benefit to staff, customers, and visitors alike in terms of creating cleaner commercial air spaces; reducing this risk of transmission and absenteeism. This also can positively impact infection control in production processes, such as using UV-C to extend the shelf life of foods and reducing cross contamination risks.

UV-C Disinfection Batten
The UV-C Disinfection Batten is designed for effective surface sterilisation suitable for use in various applications.
Benefits:
-
UV-C light effectively deactivates most viruses and germs on directly irradiated surfaces*1. UV-C surface disinfection products, fitted with our UV-C light sources, can inactivate SARS-CoV-2 virus on surfaces by more than 99% to below detectable levels*2.
-
Proven, effective disinfection over the useful long lifetime of lamp and luminaire
-
Environmentally friendly – no ozone emissions during or after use
-
Combined with safeguards, such as controlled-access devices, it can be used safely
Robotic UV Steriliser
Designed for use in Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, Airports, Train Stations, Shopping centres, Offices, Supermarkets - the Robotic UV Steriliser is powered by 480W bulbs that kill 99.9% of bacteria across the air and surfaces and can sterilise an area of 500 meters squared in just 10 minutes.
With a 3 hour charging time, the robotic device will travel around a pre-programmed area ensuring 360 degree sterilisation.
Built with electrical and mechanical anti-collision features, the robotic device can be controlled via computer backstage software and by mobile application.
With visual navigation, the device will also return back to its charging station once its cycle is complete, helping to ensure the highest-grade sterilisation, across industrial sized areas.

Wall mounted Upper Air Disinfection
The WM Upper Air Disinfection unit is designed for strong upper air disinfection, effectively disinfecting the air in various settings for healthy breathing air.
Benefits:
-
Our Philips UV-C disinfection upper-air wall-mount luminaires inactivated 99.99% of SARS-COV-2, the virus responsible for the COVID-19 disease, in the air of a room within 10 minutes. At 20 minutes, the virus was below detectable levels. *3
-
Swift disinfection effect, with 83.6% reduction of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the COVID-19 disease, achieved in a room within 2 minutes. *3
-
Allows quiet disinfection of air while business activity continues beneath the level of the device
Ceiling mounted Upper Air Disinfection
The CM Upper Air Disinfection unit is designed for strong upper air disinfection whilst you carry out your work. With the UV-C rays beaming the air around and above it, it produces sterilised breathing air for people in enclosed spaces.
Benefits:
-
Allows quiet disinfection of air while business activity continues beneath the level of the device
-
Environmentally friendly – no ozone emissions during or after use
UVC Disinfection Chamber

The UV-C Disinfection Chamber is designed to sterilise professional, non medical objects. Using UV-C rays to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes Covid-19), this device allows for objects to be sterilised. *4
Benefits:
-
Proven, effective disinfection over the useful long lifetime of lamp and luminaire
-
Safety features to avoid any accidental direct exposure to UV-C radiation
UVC Disinfection Active Air

The UV-C Active air device is meant to disinfect the air without interrupting normal business operations. It can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling in a variety of settings, including UV-sensitive ones. Ventilators draw air from the room within the device, filter it, and then expose it to 2 x 60 W UV-C lamps for intensive disinfection. The UV light then produces clean air.
UV-C Floor Standing Air Unit

The Philips UV-C disinfection air unit is a powerful and effective way to disinfect circulating air. It draws air into the unit where UV-C radiation inactivates up to 90% of micro-organisms in 80 m3 within just 1 hour (circular coverage 28 m2)(1). With no need for mounting, the free-standing unit can be wheeled into place in a wide range of professional applications, from offices and retail to hospitality. The aesthetic design delivers well-controlled UV-C radiation (RG0) and can also be used when people are present

*4 In laboratory testing, Signify’s UV-C light sources reduced SARS-CoV-2 virus infectivity on a surface to below detectable levels in as few as 9 seconds (Nadia Storm et al., 2020, accessible here). In this study, an exposure to an UV-C irradiance of 0.849 mW/cm2 for the duration of 9 seconds was applied, resulting in an UV-C dose of 7.64 mJ/cm2 . Our UV-C surface disinfection products (fitted with our UV-C light sources) will achieve the same level of virus infectivity reduction as long as the same UV-C dose is achieved on each area of surface that is irradiated.
